Investing in Debt

I met F.P. about a dozen years ago when I answered an ad about “investing in debt”.

At first I didn’t understand, but after our conversation I admit the process became more clear. After all, I had bought my home using a mortgage instrument. I realized that was a debt to me....

Why? Because they own a small business or they are self- employed or they earn sales commissions. Banks are uncomfortable with this type of borrower. This is especially true since the sub-prime loan debacle."

ASSETS  can be sold. Can Private Notes be sold......YES!

Then I remembered that my parents bought their first home without the bank. Our next door neighbor financed the purchase with a private note. The bank was not involved.
